Hi and welcome to my website! I am Charles Cheng, currently reside in California, the United States of America. Over the years, I have traveled to many places in the world. For me, travel isn’t just about going somewhere new – it’s a challenge, a discovery, and an experience of difference. Every trip puts me into the unknowns, and makes me to observe, to feel, to think, and to learn. I went on adventurous journeys, group tours, and self-arranged explorations; saw natural wonders and famous sights; wandered through strange streets; experienced different cultures; tasted food that I can’t pronounce; and not surprisingly, run into unexpected situations… Whether I’m deep in the mountains or in the middle of a bustling city, enjoy excitement or quiet moments, each trip brings its own lessons, emotions, and stories.

I feel fortunate to be able to travel to different places in the world and continue to do so. I do enjoy the pleasure and benefits travel brings. It is my hope that I can visit as many places as possible while capable. In the meantime, I want to build a website to record and share my travel experiences, both in words and through my photography. It’s a personal archive, but also a way of opening the door to my travels to anyone who’s interested. For those who love to travel – or simply wish to experience the world through someone else’s lens – I want to make my stories and photos accessible.
